Rehabilitation

Supporting your recovery, rebuilding your strength, and helping you feel confident in your body again.

why postpartum rehabilitation matters

Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood place incredible physical and emotional demands on the body — and postpartum recovery deserves care, support, and intention. Whether you're 6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years postpartum, it is never too early — or too late — to start supporting your recovery.

As a chiropractor and mom myself, I understand how overwhelming postpartum recovery can feel. Between feeding schedules, carrying babies, lack of sleep, and constantly being "on," many moms are expected to jump right back into normal life without much guidance on how to care for their own bodies in the process. My goal is to create a supportive and realistic approach to recovery that meets you exactly where you are.

Why postpartum rehab matters

Pregnancy and delivery can affect:

  • Core strength and abdominal control

  • Pelvic stability

  • Breathing mechanics

  • Posture and movement patterns

  • Pelvic floor coordination

  • Strength and endurance

  • Overall body awareness

Many women experience symptoms such as:

  • Low back or pelvic pain

  • Core weakness or abdominal separation

  • Neck and shoulder tension from feeding and carrying baby

  • Feeling unstable or disconnected from their body

  • Difficulty returning to exercise

  • Fatigue with everyday movement

Postpartum rehabilitation focuses on rebuilding a strong foundation before progressing back into higher-level movement and exercise.

starting with breathwork & core connection

Recovery does not begin with intense workouts — it begins with reconnecting to your breath, core, and movement patterns.

Early postpartum rehabilitation often focuses on:

  • Breathing mechanics

  • Deep core engagement

  • Pelvic floor coordination

  • Pressure management

  • Gentle mobility and stability work

  • Restoring body awareness

Learning how to properly engage and coordinate the core can help improve stability, reduce strain on the body, and create a strong foundation for movement moving forward.

Building strength for motherhood

Motherhood is physically demanding. From carrying babies and lifting car seats to feeding, bending, pushing strollers, and chasing toddlers, moms spend all day moving — often without realizing how much strength and endurance those tasks require.

As recovery progresses, rehabilitation shifts into:

  • Functional strength training

  • Mobility and stability work

  • Safe return-to-exercise progressions

  • Core-focused strengthening

  • Postural support

  • Movement patterns for everyday life

The goal is not just to "bounce back," but to help women feel strong, capable, supported, and confident in their bodies for the long term.

A supportive & realistic approach

Every postpartum journey looks different, and there is no "perfect" timeline for recovery. My approach focuses on meeting moms where they are, creating realistic progressions, and providing support in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

Sessions are available:

  • One-on-one

  • In-person

  • Virtually

  • Through group classes

Babies are always welcome. Extra time is built into appointments and sessions for feeding, diaper changes, snack breaks, or simply taking a moment for cuddles. There is no expectation that your baby will sleep the entire session or that everything will go perfectly. Motherhood is beautifully unpredictable, and this space is designed with that in mind.

Whether you are newly postpartum, returning to movement after having children, or simply wanting to feel stronger in your body again, postpartum rehabilitation can help support you through that process.
